How many trips you need

Implants usually need at least two stages: placing the implant, then a healing period of about 3–6 months before the crown is fitted. Many patients fly home in between and return for the crown. Crowns, veneers and root canals can often be done in one trip of one to two weeks. Ask the clinic for a written plan with the number of visits before you book flights.

Visa tip Each stage usually fits within the 30-day visa-free stay. For longer continuous treatment, see the Tourist Visa (Medical Treatment) in our medical tourism guide.

Questions people ask

How much is a dental implant in Thailand?

About ฿60,000–95,000 per tooth including the crown at BIDC in Bangkok in 2026, depending on the implant brand. Budget brands elsewhere start around ฿35,000.

How much does All-on-4 cost in Thailand?

About ฿290,000–330,000 per jaw at BIDC with an acrylic bridge, plus ฿160,000–170,000 for a metal-framed bridge.

How many trips do dental implants in Thailand need?

Usually two: one to place the implant and one to fit the crown after about 3–6 months of healing.
